Late C17. House of 2 storeys with steep stone slate roof. Recessed ground floor
with colonnade of 5 bays, 2 end piers square with half column and 4 columns supporting
a massive wooden lintel. 6 closely spaced windows to 1st floor, hung sashes in
reveals with plain wide architraves; chamfered quoins and heavy dentilled eaves
cornice. 6 large hipped dormers. Chimney stacks on gables, paired flues linked
by entablature topping. Ground floor west end has 2 projecting windows, many paned
with curved ends, and a doorway between. East end has early semi-circular headed
doorway and contemporary panelled doors fitting to the head, and towards the centre
a large triple window (3 normal double hung sashes).
