Originally 1 C16 house of 2 storeys in roughly coursed rubble, later divided into
2 and extended. Steep pitched Welsh slate roof over all. the earlier part has
2 later pedimented dormers, a wide flat verge on the north gable with ball finial
on the kneeler. 5 windows wide with gabled porch of 2 storeys in the centre; 1
window in the porch. Ground floor has been built out in line with the porch.
The outer opening is square headed with 2 piers encased in C19 wood panelling.
The inner doorway has a 4-centred-arched head. All windows have moulded wooden
architraves. 1st floor has 2 late casements and small sash in porch and 2 larger
sashes south of it. The sash windows are hung with a small top section. Ground
floor has 3-light sash windows north of centre and a late single light the other
side, and the doorway to the later extension. Porch rendered on 1st floor. The
extension, at the south end of all that has been described is rendered, with 1
flat-topped dormer. 2 hung sash indows to the 1st floor. The ground floor has
been cut out as a garage. There is a modern 2 storey extension to the right.

All the listed buildings in Market Place form a group.
