No 22 and the first part of Middle School are 1 build. Late C18. Stone faced,
2 storeys. . 5 windows to 1st floor, spaced 3:2. Ground floor has doorway at east
end, shop window made by enlarging and 30ning 2 windows, carriageway and another
window. Windows are hung sashes in moulded wooden cases, plain architraves with
keystones, similar architrave to house doorway at east end. The main block of
No 24 is an early C18 house of 3 storeys in coursed rubble with parapet screening
the roof 5 windows to 1st and 2nd floor, spaced 3:2, hung sashes, some early
with heavy glazing bars, moulded wooden cases, shallow reveals, plain stone surrounds
with keystones. Plain low doorway at west end with similar architrave. Plinth.
Rain water head dated 1715. Modern work to rear,

Nos 2 to 36 (even) and 42 to 46A (even) and 52 to 98 (even) form a group.
