5/13 Hare and Hounds Public House
GV II

Public house. Early/mid C18. Squared coursed limestone with slate and pantile
roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range of casements with glazing bars at
first floor and C20 casements at ground floor, all under wood lintels, some
renewed. Ground floor windows have shutter recesses alongside. C20 door to left
of centre also under wood lintel. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at
ridge and end. C19 single-storey one-unit extension to right. Rear elevation has
6-panel door under wood lintel, now in glazed porch. Interior has some spine
beams and plank doors.
