Forge. Late C18 and C19. Squared coursed limestone and brick with pantile and
asbestos slate roof. Single-unit plan. Single storey. 2 bays with C19 casement
window to right, under wood lintel, and C20 double doors to left, also under
wood lintel. Tall brick stack at right end. Left gable and rear elevation have
similar casement windows. Small brick extension to rear has asbestos slate roof.
Interior has hearth with brick flue. Internal arrangement probably modified C19.
Some original roof structure remains.
