railings approx. 2m. E of
chancel of Church of St.
Rumbald

Group of 3 chest tombs. Dated 1684 and early and mid C19. Limestone ashlar.
Chest tomb to west has chamfered slab and is dated 1684. Other two are C19 with
bolection moulded pilasters, oval inscription panels, and are enclosed by mid
C19 cast-iron railings. Partially legible inscriptions to Southwell, Smith and
Tibbetts families.
