13/79 Blacksmiths Cottage
GV II
House. Early/mid C18 and C19. Squared coursed limestone with thatch and pantile
roof. 2-unit plan. Single storey with attic, 2-window range of C19 style
casements under wood lintels. Similar casements under eyebrow dormers, to attics,
have ashlar quoins. Cl9 plank door to left, also under wood lintel. Brick stacks
at ends. C19, L-shape, single-storey, outbuilding attached to left has pantile
roof. Interior not inspected but probably has retains of open fireplace.
