Gates and attached gatepiers
approx. 10m E of Duddington

Gates and attached gatepiers. Probably C18, restored C19. Limestone ashlar
gatepiers with wrought-iron gates. Pair of plain gatepiers, with moulded
cornices, are probably C18, with C19 ball finials. Wrought-iron gates, linking
piers, have side panels and overthrow incorporating the Goddard-Jackson crest.
The gates and attached gatepiers fort part of the garden layout with Duddington
Manor and attached wall and pier (q.v.) and office, outbuildings and attached
wall and pier approximately 10 metres north of Duddington Manor (q.v.). Included
for group value.
