Vicarage, now house. Probably early C18 origins, mainly late C18 and C19.
Regular coursed and squared coursed limestone with slate roof. Originally
T-shape plan, now cross plan. 2 and 3 storeys. Garden front has 2 wings, each of
2-window range with irregularly spaced sashes with glazing bars under gauged
stone heads and wood and stone lintels. Wing to left of 2 storeys. C20 single
storey extension between wings. Brick stacks at ends. Entrance front is similar
with projecting centre wing. Part-glazed door and porch to left. Interior has
mid C18 staircase with turned balustrade, probably reused from the Yelverton
mansion which stood to the north-east of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul
(q.v.). Home of Thomas Percy 1753-82.
