Farmhouse. Mid C18 with datestone FES/1896 for Ecton Hall Estate. Squared
coursed lias with plain-tile roof. T-shape plan. 2 storeys with attic. Main
front of 3-window range of C20 casements with glazing bars in original openings
under wood lintels. C19 wooden porch to right of centre has part-glazed door.
One-window range to far left probably added C19. Eaves dormers, ashlar gable
parapets and kneelers and brick stacks at ridge and end. Similar C18 wing
projects to rear with single-storey extension to right with datestone. Interior
not inspected.
