23/173 Gates and gatepiers approx.
10m. E of Grendon Hall

Gates and gatepiers. Mid C18. Pair of squared coursed limestone gatepiers
surmounted by lead urns after the style of John Van Nost. Linked by wrought iron
gates with overthrow having some scroll and leaf decoration. Probably restored
early C20.
