11/1 Postway Cottage

GV II

Cottage, late C17. Coursed limestone rubble banded with ironstone, plain-tile
roof, flanking brick stacks. 2 storeys, bays. Central doorway has wood lintel
and ribbed plank door. 2-light stone mullioned window to right. C20 tray window
to left. Two C19 two-light casement windows with wood lintels on first floor.
3-light stone mullioned window in rear wall, now internal. C20 extension to
rear. Interior: Stop chamfered spine beams. Open fireplace (altered C20) and
bread oven.
