House. Late C18, incorporating earlier C18 work. Limestone ashlar, roof covered
by snow at time of survey, brick stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys and attic. 3 bays.
Entrance in second bay from right has wood lintel, 4-panel door and C20 gabled
timber porch. C19 bay window to left with flat lead roof and wooden casements.
4-light window with wood lintel and old iron casement in right bay. Similar
window in left bay. 4-light casement windows with wood lintels in left bay and d
second bay from left on first floor. Similar 3-light window in righ bay.
Blocked attic window between right and centre bay. Rear extension, probably
early C18, similar materials, one storey with loft, 2 bays, has 3-light casement
window with wood lintel in right bay. Blocked window to left and blocked
openings to loft above. Interior: Inglenook fireplace with small window on left
side and cupboard with slatted door and old iron hinges to right. Panelled
shutters and C18 panelled doors. Kitchen in rear wing has set of chamfered
beams.
