(Formerly listed as former cottage at Chacombe Priory)

Cottage, now garden shed. C18, incorporating C13 and C16 work. Uncoursed
limestone and ironstone rubble. Thatched roof, brick stack. 2 storeys, 2 bays.
Doorway in right bay has C16 four-centred stone arch with inscription 1591
(probably added C18-C19). Similar blocked doorway in left bay. Plain C13 lancet
on ground floor right side. C19 wood casement window above. Diagonal buttresses
at each corner rear wall. Central ground-floor windows at rear with wood lintel
and no glazing. Left side not accessible for inspection. Interior: First floor
joists C18-C19. Chamfered main beam probably earlier. Said to incorporate
remains of priory, converted to cottage ornee in C18.
