Pair of cottages. C18, one remodelled as Village Hall 1919 (Date plaque).
Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, thatched roof, brick stacks. Cottage to
left, of 2 storeys and 2 bays, has doorway in left bay with wood lintel and door
made up of C18-C19 work with C16 small irregular panels. Blocked doorway with
wood lintel in right bay. 3-light window to right with stop-chamfered wood
lintel, wood mullions and iron casements. 2-light window with stop-chamfered
lintel and wood casement left of blocked doorway. 2-light windows on first floor
with wood lintels, old iron casements and leaded panes. Village Hall to right
has doorway in left bay with wood lintel and plank door. Large 4-light wood
mullioned and transomed window to right. Interior not inspected.
