Manor Farmhouse

II

House. C18, probably incorporating earlier work. Coursed squared ironstone and
coursed rubble, slate roof, brick stacks. Consists of a line of 4 irregular
blocks of different builds. Principal block second from left: 2 storeys and
attic, 2 bays. 2- and 3-light windows with voussoired stone lintels and wood
mullions and transoms. Entrance on left side has stone lintel and 4-panel door
with overlight 2-light window with wood lintel in attic. Block to left, one bay,
2 storeys, has 3-light wood mullioned and transomed window with stone lintel on
ground floor. Block to right of irregular shape with walls converging towards
roofline. 2 storeys, one bay. 2-light windows with stone lintels and wood
mullions and transoms on both floors. Block furthest to right, 2 storeys, 2 bays
has window with stone lintels and 2- and 3-light wood casements. Interior not
inspected.
