Two cottages. C18. Coursed limestone rubble, shingle roof, brick and stone ridge
stacks, brick end stack on stone base. 2-storey, 5-window range. No.22 has
gabled slate roofed stone porch and 4-panel door with timber lintel, and small
circular windows with stone surrounds to either side of porch. To left and right
of porch 3-light casement windows with timber lintels and hood moulds. 2-light
casements to first floor with timber lintels, except for that to first floor
left, a 2-light chamfered stone mullion window with hood mouldy stone-coped
gable to right. No.24 has C19 plank door in moulded wood surround with timber
lintel, flanked by 3-light casements with timber lintels, that to right with
hood mould, a 2-light chamfered stone mullion window to first floor right with
hood mould and a 2-light casement with timber lintel to first floor left.
Interior: No.22 has stop-chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with bar
stop-chamfered bressumer and bread oven.
