Pair of cottages. Mid C18. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roof, brick end and
ridge stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. No.4 has 2-unit plan and
central C19 part-glazed 4-panel door with wood lintel, 3-light C20 casement
window to left, 2-light casements to ground floor right and first floor, all
with wood lintels. Stone-coped gable to right. No.6 has 3-unit plan and C20 door
to left of centre with wood lintel. A C20 bay window to ground floor left, a
4-light casement window to first floor left, otherwise 2-light casement windows
to ground and first floors, all with wood lintels. Interiors noted as having
chamfered spine beams. Included for group value.
