Row of 4 cottages. Dated 1724 with later additions and C19 alterations. Coursed
squared ironstone, C20 plain-tile roof, brick end and ridge stacks. 2 storeys
and attic; 7-window range. Main front to High Street has part-glazed 4-panel
door to left (No.37), 3-light sliding casement windows to ground floor, and
2-light leaded sliding casements to first floor, all with wood lintels, those to
ground floor windows stop-chamfered. Straight joint on line of right jamb of
door and to right of centre. Datestone inscribed C/HE/1724 in right gable end.
Stone-coped gables with kneelers. Other entrances to rear.
