Pair of cottages. c.1800, with C19 and C20 alterations. Red brick in Flemish
garden wall bond, ridged tile roof, brick end and ridge stacks. 3-unit plan. 2
storeys and attic; 3-window range. Doors to left and right of central 2-light
casement window, that to right a plank door in pegged wood surround. 3-light
casements to ground floor left and right, 2-light casement windows to first
floor. those to centre and left with small leaded panes. All windows and doors
have segmental arched heads. Stone-coped gables with kneelers. 2-storey lean-to
extension to left. Back wall of coursed ironstone and limestone rubble. Interior
has stop-chamfered spine beams. Included for group value.
