Farmhouse. Early/mid C18 with older origins and early c19 alterations. Coursed
squared ironstone, thatch roof, brick end and ridge stacks, 3-unit plan. 2
storeys and attic; 4-window range. boar to right of centre with pointed arched
panels and moulded stone surround. Bay window to left with 24-pane sash to
front, 8 panes to sides. 32-pond sash windows to ground floor left and right
with stone sills and wood lintels, Similar sashes to 1st floor left and right,
24-pane sashes to left and right of centre, all with wood lintels. Straight
joint to left of bay window. Left bay is probably earliest part of house with
double-chamfered 1-light attic window to gable. Quoins and stone-coped gables
with kneelers. 2-storey extension, probably late c18, to rear right, with
catslide roof. Old leaded casement windows to rear with wood lintels. Interior
has stone-flagged hall, stop-chamfered spine beans, open fireplace and old
cupboards with H and HL hinges.
