Farmhouse, now house. Mid C18, altered C19. Coursed squared limestone, C20
plain-tile roof, stone end stacks. 2-unit plan with central staircase. 2 storeys
and attic; 3-window range. Central C19 part-glazed door with overlight, panelled
reveals and moulded wood surround with pilasters and gabled hood on brackets.
Bay window to right, glazed conservatory to left. 6-pane window to left of door,
16-pane sash windows to first floor, all with ironstone lintels and key blocks.
Chamfered plinth, ironstone quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Two
hipped roof dormers, Wing to rear right with 6-panel back door with overlight
and similar windows. Interior noted as having open well staircase with steeply
ramped and wreathed mahogany handrail; carved tread-ends and ornamental
cast-iron balusters, alternating with stick balusters.
