GV II

Farmhouse. C17, remodelled early/mid C19. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roof,
brick end and ridge stacks. 3-unit plan. 2-storey, 4-window range. Part-glazed
C19 door to left of centre with overlight in moulded wood surround with straight
hood on brackets. 3-light casement windows to ground and first floors with
timber lintels. C20 porch and back door to far right. Quoins and stone-coped
gables with kneelers. Early/mid C19 extension to rear to give double-depth plan.
Roof of main range lowered as part of same alterations. Interior has
wedge-stop-chamfered spine beams and open-well staircase with stick balusters
and ramped handrail.
