Four cottages, formerly single dwelling, probably farmhouse. Dated 1694, with earlier origins. Sub-divided, extended and altered C19; renovated C20. Coursed ironstone and limestone rubble, C20 tile roof replacing thatch, C19 decorative tile roof to No.8, brick ridge stacks. Probably three-unit plan originally. Two storeys and attic; five window range. C20 doors with timber lintels. Irregular fenestration of two- and three-light casement windows, all with timber lintels. Datestone above window to right of front door of No. 6 inscribed H/WM/1694 flanked by spiral fluted colonnettes supporting broken pediment with cherub's head.

Interior of No.4 has open fireplace with cambered, chamfered, bressumer dated 1654 and chamfered spine beams.
