16/8 The Horse Tunnel

Aqueduct. Late C18. Coursed squared limestone and red brick. Single-arched
aqueduct conveying canal over pedestrian right-of-way. Horseshoe-shaped tunnel
vault and entrances. The latter have keyblocks and curved stone retaining walls,
curving forward either side.
