Pair of cottages. C17 with later alterations. Coursed squared limestone, thatch
roof, brick ridge and end stacks. 2-storey, 3-window range. 3-unit plan. Plank
door to left of centre to No.37 with wood lintel, similar door to right of
centre to No.39 with wood lintel extending over 2-light casement window to
right. A 3-light casement to ground floor centre with wood lintel and 2-light
casements to 1st floor in eyebrow dormers. Single-storey extension projects to
ground floor far left with hipped slate roof, small single-storey extension
projects to, ground floor far left with hipped slate roof, small single-storey
extension projects to ground floor far right with corrugated asbestos roof.
Interior: No.37 has chamfered spine beams with ogee stops, open fireplace with
chamfered bressumer and old quarry tile floors.
