6/33 Camellia or Round House

GV II

Greenhouse. Early/mid C19. Dressed limestone, cast iron and glass. Rectangular
with apsed entrance end. Central door flanked by Tuscan pilasters. Glazed bays
separated by piers with similar pilasters. Entablature and blocking cornice.
Pineapple finials to parapet flanking apsidal end and either end of roof ridge.
Interior roof supported by cast-iron columns. In Italian garden but pre-dating
its existing layout.
