House. Dated 1601, altered C19 and C20. Coursed squared limestone, banded with
ironstone and with ironstone dressings, pantile roof, stone end and ridge
stacks. 3-unit cross-passage plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. C20 door
to right of centre with wood lintel and relieving arch of alternate limestone
and ironstone 3-light chamfered stone mullion windows to ground and 1st floors,
those to ground floor with similar relieving arches and all with hood moulds.
Gabled dormer window above windows to left of centre with 2-light casement
window, and moulded stone surround and hood mould. Chamfered plinth and
stone-coped gables with kneelers. Re-cut datestone to dormer gable inscribed
WR/1601. Interior has ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with
cambered chamfered bressumer.
