House of c.1830 incorporating late C17/early C18 dwelling as service wing, which
now forms separate dwellings (Nos.8 and 10). Unpainted stucco, hipped slate
roof, rendered internal stacks. Double-depth plan. 2-storey, 5-window range.
Main front faces garden to west and has central C20 canted bay window. 2 bays
either side break forward slightly with C20 'French' windows to ground floor
left and right of centre and C20 windows to ground floor far right and far left,
all with rendered lintels. 16-pane sash windows to 1st floor with rendered
heads. Plinth, moulded storey band to all except central bay, moulded cornice
and plain parapet stone-coped to 2 outer bays. L-plan former service wing to
rear left side facing road of 2 storeys and attic. Gable end of this range
facing street has 3-light casement window to 1st floor with cambered arched head
and leaded casement window to attic with wood lintel; stone-coped gable with
kneelers. Interior not inspected.
