Early C19 front. Three storeys and 3 windows. Ashlar, ground floor painted, band
course over ground floor and 1st and 2nd floor cill strings. Moulded eaves cornice.
Slate roof with 2 brick chimneys. Plate glass sash window. Doorway to left,
upper part of Tram moulded; bracketed segmental modlded hood above. Long 2 storey
range at rear. Interior fielded panels to 1st and 2nd floor shutters.
Linking this house with No 41 is a mid C19 pedimented feature with a clock above
which is a corbel carved as a wheatsheaf. It is above the alley leading to the
Corn Exchange.
