Early C19. Three storeys, 3+2 windows. Ashlar front. Cill strings to 1st and
2nd floor windows. Moulded eaves cornice to slate roof; coped verges; 2 stone
gable end chimneys. Plate glass sash windows. Fine late C19 paired shop fronts
on ground floor of No 41; carved fascia brackets with lions' masks above, arch
headed glazing, recessed doors. Plain C20 shop front to No 43.
