Alison Place and
The Cottage.
NU 1813 SE 1/190
Circa 1807 (of stone in garden wall to south west with "T.A. 1807").
Alison Place: an early paired villa; 3 storeys, 4 windows; ashlar built with cill
strings. Slate roof with coped verges and kneelers. Late glazed sash windows.
Projecting porch, gabled and divided - formerly a central segmental arch with dividing
panelled pilasters, right hand door has 6 raised and fielded panels; left hand
door part glazed. At rear are 2 full staircase windows. Gable lit attic.
The Cottage: forms a 2 storey 2 windows extension to the right; 1st floor cill
band; right hand windows blind with sash rebate.
