The old Red House. Early C18. Brick built with stone raised and chamfered quoins,
moulded architraves and cills, modillion cornice, stone doorpiece with pulvinated
frieze and modillion cornice. Two stone vases on parapet. Two storeys and attic;
4 Windows with late glazed sash windows. Slate roof with 3 tall double chimneys,
one retaining moulded stone capping. Two gabled dormers behind parapet with 2
light casements. Central doorway with throughpassage to Dorothy Foster Court: 8
panel door. Lead rainwater pipe head with initials 'T.F.'. stone voussoirs to
rear door.
