Scott headstones
15 metres south-
west of Church of
St. Cuthbert

Headstones, C18. Sandstone. Eastern stone has shaped top with sunk panel and
cherub, above inscription to William Scott of Choppington, 1759. Western stone
has relief carved panel of trumpeting cherub holding palm, amongst clouds,
flanked by scrolly foliage with partly concealed mortality emblems; inscription
to Elizabeth wife of William Collingwood (of) Bluehouse, 1787.
