CALLALY HIGH HOUSES

Pair of cottages, c.1880. Snecked stone with Welsh slate roof. Tudor style.
Central 1½-storey section with single-storey, l-bay wings.

Each cottage has, on ground-floor, a boarded and battened door, with later
glazed panel cut in, and two 3-light mullioned windows with 8-pane sash in
each light. Similar windows in gabled half-dormers above door. All openings
have stepped and hollow-chamfered surrounds. String course above ground floor.

Gabled roof with kneelers, flat coping and corniced end stacks to centre section.

Built as Callaly estate houses.
