the Peels Farmhouse


Stables with granary over. Late C17 or early C18, altered early C19. Random
rubble with Welsh slate and corrugated iron roofs.

2 storeys with single-storey section to left.

2 storey section: 2 boarded doors in C18 alternating-block surrounds. 2 ground-
floor windows have recessed chamfered surrounds formerly with mullions.

On 1st floor 4 small slatted windows to granary.

Single-storey section has walls c. 3 ft. thick. Old masonry in lower courses.
2 doorways, with boarded doors. Doorway to left has slight chamfer and harr-
hung door.

To rear, outside stone steps lead to boarded granary door under gablet.
