Weir with sluice gate and ovarflow channel. Early C19. Dressed stone.

In the centre a weir, c. 7 ft. high with each course of stonework slightly offset.

To right a sluice gate with winding mechanism still in situ. On extreme right a
curving retaining wall with flat coping.

To left an overflow channel c. 25 yards long, s-curved in plan with dressed-
stone invert stepping down, and side walls with flat coping.
