stable c. 50 yards
north-west of
Eslington Park

GV II

Carriage house and stable. Probably early C19, raised 1858. Dressed stone
with graduated Lakeland slate roof. L-plan. 2 storeys.

Front block 3 irregular bays. 2 segmental arches with boarded double doors.
Half-glazed door to right. Blocked ventilation slits. 3 small windows on 1st
floor have-plain raised surrounds. One is a fixed 6-pane window, the others
are slatted. Hipped roof.

On left return a segmental arch and outside stone steps to granary.
