Fairnley Farmhouse

House. 1840 for John Trevelyan of Wallington. Dressed stone with ashlar
dressings, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower 2-storey, one-bay
section to left. Central panelled door with overlight and lintel inscribed
J.T. 1840. 12-pane sashes in alternating-block surrounds. Shallow-pitched
gabled roof with slightly-ridged coping and banded end stacks of 2 conjoined
shafts.

Addition to left has 16-pane sash on ground floor and 4-pane Yorkshire sash
above.

Interior has staircase with stick balusters and turned newels, 6-panel doors
and shutters.
