Hulne Friary

Outer precinct wall of friary. Medieval with later patchings. Outer face
roughly-squared stone, inner face coursed rubble. Wall 0.65 metre thick and
2.8 metres high, with steeply-pitched rubble coping above projecting band.
From the present gateway, north-east of the friary, the wall runs south for
c.120 metres to a ruined termination close to the river, and west for c.150
metres ending by the C20 kennels.
