6/72 Palmstrother Bridge,
over Shipley Burn

Bridge, probably late C18. Squared stone of near-ashlar quality. Segmental
arch, with raised voussoirs and impost blocks, flanked by pilasters. Band
below parapet, with chamfered coping, ending in square piers with flat tops.
