gate piers at West
Entrance to
Shawdon Hall

Screen wall and piers, perhaps 1858 by John Dobson. Ashlar. Square piers
with plinth and moulded capitals carrying ball finials; low serpentine walls
with pitched coping (railings missing) link to end piers with stepped frieze
and low pyramidal caps.
