House, dated 1728 with initials I A on lintel of rear door; extended to rear
c.1900. Squared stone with cut dressings; Scottish slate roof. 2 storeys,
3 bays, slightly irregular. Plinth, sill bands. 3 steps up to right-of-
centre 4-panel door with plain overlight, in moulded stone surround with
gabled hood on consoles. Sash windows, lost glazing bars, in raised stone
surrounds. Coped gables with moulded kneelers; corniced end stacks. Triple-
gabled rear elevation, the recessed centre part with broad segmental arch to
ground floor; re-set earlier C19 sash windows.

Interior: central lobby has stone stair with late C19 balustrade; original
fireplaces now boarded over.
