7/27 Garden walls to
south of Hall
GV II
Garden walls, early C20 with re-used C18 gatepiers. Squared tooled stone with
cut dressings. 2-metre high wall on west of lawn links to south-west corner
of Hall, and has central gateway; rusticated piers with pulvinated friezes,
moulded caps and knob finials. Lower wall on south of lawn, turned in to
flank central flight of 7 steps. Pitched moulding coping.
