GV II

House, early C18. Front squared roughly-tooled stone, rear rubble; Welsh
slate roof except for artificial blue slates on rear slope; rear wing stack
old brick. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Right-of-centre renewed door in heavy
alternate-block surround ; early C20 4-pane casements except for 6-pane on
ground floor right. Raised reverse-step coping to left gable; end stacks,
that to left rendered. Rear elevation shows projecting wing with gable
stack, and 12-pane sash, with 8-pane Yorkshire sash above, on right return.

Attached buildings to south ('Country Shop') and north, although of similar
age, have been altered and are not of special interest.
