House. Late C18 or early C19 with later C19 rear wing. Front close-jointed
squared stone, returns and wing rubble; graduated Lakeland slate roof with
brick stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical: central pedimented
Tuscan porch enclosing C20 glazed door; 12-pane sash windows with 6-pane
sashes above. Eaves cornice. Hipped roof, with central large stepped-and-
banded stack. Left return shows 12-pane sash with 4-pane sash above; slightly-
projecting sills. Right return shows 2 large raking buttresses. Central wing
to rear, with gable-end stack.
