NU 20 NW SHILBOTTLE WOOD HOUSE

henhouse to north-
east of Wood House

Pigsties with henhouse over. Second quarter of C19. Rubble with roughly-
tooled quoins and dressings; synthetic blue slate roof. Face to yard shows
2 pigsties, with square-headed openings and slit vents above square eaves
bands; coped gables. Small front yards with flat-coped walls. Left return
shows L-plan stone stair to boarded henhouse door. Slit vents to rear.
Interior: henhouse has 2 tiers of wall nesting boxes with brick partitions.
