of Morwick Hall

Gate screen. Late C18, brought from Tynemouth to Morwick by Mr. William
Linskill c.1860. Squared stone with ashlar piers. Main piers have monolithic
octagonal shafts with moulded plinths, and moulded caps with acanthus friezes
and domed tops. Short quadrant wall to east and 7-metre length of straight
wall to west, both 1.7 metres high.

Attached lower rubble walls are not of special interest.
