Gate screen. Late C18, brought from Tynemouth to Morwick by Mr. William
Linskill c.1860. Squared stone with ashlar piers. Main piers have monolithic
octagonal shafts with moulded plinths, and moulded caps with acanthus friezes
and domed tops. 1-metre high quadrant wall to south with moulded plinth and
renewed coping sloped up at each end; longer 0.6-metre high wing wall at north
end with flat slab coping; lower end piers similar but without frieze.
