House. C18 incorporating earlier fabric, altered and enlarged in early C19.
Front of older part rendered except for porch of close-jointed squared stone;
right return large roughly-coursed stone; rear rubble. C19 part roughly-
tooled stone with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings. Welsh slate roof
with 2 stacks rebuilt in grey brick.
South elevation: Main part 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical, with 2-bay C19
left extension. Central flat-topped porch has 6-panel door in raised stone
surround, band below chamfered parapet coping, and 6-pane sash on each return.
4-pane sash windows in raised stone surrounds. Coped gables; stepped-and-
corniced left end stack, rebuilt right end stack. Extension has 2-storey
right bay with 12-pane sashes in raised stone surrounds and coped left gable
with rebuilt stack on old base; 1 storey left bay has 4-pane sash, in similar
surround, and coped left gable.
Right return of main part shows two 4-pane sashes on each floor and projecting
pent-roofed rear porch; boarded door on left return and 6-pane casement on
right. Rear elevation shows 2 renewed doors in old openings, tall stair
window with renewed small-paned glazing above blocked mullioned window, and
several 12-pane sashes mostly in C19 alternating-block surrounds; single-
storey part on far right has tripartite sash.
Interior: Old half-glazed door to front porch. Curving stair with oval-
section balusters (some cast iron), fluted newel, wreathed and moulded handrail,
curtail step and tread ends carved with fleur-de-lys pattern.
